At La Résidence Phou Vao we are pleased to be able to offer the best in Laotian dining within the grounds of our hotel at the renowned Phou Vao restaurant. Offering a choice of indoor and outdoor seating we serve traditional Laotian cuisine alongside European dishes with local influences.
The hotel's cocktail bar, too, offers a comfortable indoor lounge and outdoor seating, with fabulous views over the swimming pool and beyond to the mountains;  the perfect place for enjoying an aperitif while the sun sets.

The Spa
The Spa at La Résidence Phou Vao Hotel is the first luxury spa in Luang Prabang, Laos.
Built in traditional local materials, the Spa pavilions are decorated in an inviting mix of ethnic craftsmanship and modern comfort. Each is decorated in a contemporary style with Laotian accents using wooden furniture and elegant wall paneling made of hand woven local silk.
The Spa offers a full range of face and body treatments including facials, massages, body scrubs, body wraps and packages for individuals and couples. The custom-designed spa treatments are based on traditional Lao herbal remedies aimed at healing and nurturing, and use only pure botanical ingredients from organic Lao gardens and local farms.

La Résidence Phou Vao affords visitors an ideal starting point to discover the many treasures of Laos. Our concierge is on hand to organise day trips, outings and catered excursions to ensure that you get the most from your visit to Luang Prabang.
Within the hotel itself you will find our freshwater infinity pool, with spectacular views across the forested valleys and out over to the stupa-studded mountains in the distance.
The hotel is perfectly situated for scenic bike rides, with one of our handmade picnics to take along on your exploration,  or perhaps learn how to cook a traditional Lao meal with our cooking classes.
For those who prefer to take in the scenery in a more leisurely manner, boat tours and walking tours are available in the town, just a short distance from hotel.
