Son My (My Lai) Massacre
Son My subdistrict was the site of the most horrific war crime committed by American troops during the war. The My Lai massacre consisted of a series of atrocities carried out all over Son My subdistrict.
The Son My memorial is set in a park where Xom Lang sub-hamlet once stood. Around it, among the trees and rice paddies, are the graves of the victims, buried in family groups. Near the memorial is a museum which was opened in 1992.

Tra Ban Citadel
The ruins of the former Cham capital of Cha Ban (also known at various times as Vijaya and Qui Nhon) can be still seen. The citadel was built within a rectangular wall measuring 1400m by 1100m Canh Tien Tower (Tower of Brass) stands in the center of the enclosure. The tomb of General Vu Tinh is nearby.

Thap Doi Cham Tower            
The two Cham towers of Thap Doi have curved pyramidal roofs rather than the terracing typical of Cham architecture. The larger tower, whose four granite doorways are oriented towards the cardinal directions, retains some of it ornate brick work and remnants of the granite statuary that once graced its summit. The dismembered torsos of garuda can be seen at the corners of the roofs of both structures. The upper reaches of the small tower are home to several flourishing trees, whose creeping tendrilous roots have forced their way between the bricks.

Duong Long Cham Tower

Quang Trung Museum
Quang Trung Museum was dedicated to Nguyen Hue, a national hero of the 18th century. Nguyen Hue was one of the three brothers who led the Tay Son insurrection. In 1788, Nguyen Hue led his troops from Phu Xuan, now called Hue, to the north in 35 days. They then defeated the 290,000 Qing invaders, near Thang Long, now Hanoi, and Nguyen Hue proclaimed himself Emperor Quang Trung in the same year.
Visiting Quang Trung Museum, we will enjoy the music and demonstrations of Vo Tay Son, a traditional martial art of Binh Dinh. Emperor Quang Trung’s 9th generation niece playing the 11 battle drums can also be seen.

Qui Nhon Municipal Beach

Also known as Bai Tam Hoang Hau (The Beach reserved for the Queen only - because of the fact that King Bao Dai had a summer resort built there for himsefl and his wife), the beach extends along the southern side of the anteater's nose. It consists of a few hundred meters of sand shaded by a coconut grove.
